Houstly I'm really surprised ... I really liked the one I did last year and didn't think I'd improve that much .... But I've suprissed myself :V hah

hi!! sorry this isn't the best place to put this, but i'm in love w/ this piece, and rly wanted 2 ramble on just how great i think your art in general is
i found one piece from you via tumblr, and fell in love with it so fast that i *instantly* opened up your blog to browse through your entire undertale tag. complimenting an artist for their "style" imo is a bit overdone and vague, but in this case, it's the most accurate descriptor for what i find so incredible: there's such a specific aesthetic to your art, with the blocky outlines, blurry 3d effects, screen half-tones, and most notably, your color choice. the repeated usage of that specific shade of teal paired with a pinkish-red, overlaid with what seems almost yellow, is a rare but beautiful color scheme, and it's consistent recurrence in your artwork builds this wonderfully unique quality to your body of work as a whole. scrolling through all your recent works, it's clear that they're all distinct in how you went about them as well as their subject matter, yet they all fit cohesively together, and all evoke nearly the same specific emotion i couldn't name if i tried. (on top of that - i too love drawing skeletons and flowers, goddamn am i into this subject matter)
that really wasn't going anywhere, but each time i see your art my appreciation for your artistic independence and creative use of color rushes back to mind, and seeing this was the final nail in the coffin - the screen-tone gradient to warm colors, along with the slight contrast from teal light silhouetting the ribs, plus the sturdy and confident linework makes this one of my favorite pieces i've seen from you
good luck in school!! and i hope you keep drawing whenever you have the time (ofc be it undertale or not, lmao!) - i absolutely love seeing your work!!!! <3

I've been working hard on my style for years ...and hearing this really makes it worth it ... For being someone who wants to get a job in art I'm always worrying about my art and how I'm improving but this makes it all worth it
And emotions, storytelling have always been huge part of my life weather it be reading others or trying to create my own :')

i understand that - with the kind of visual creativity you have, i doubt you'll have any trouble finding some occupation in which you'll be able to use these artistic abilities, and it's clear just from looking at your stuff that you've put a lot of time into developing your style and technical abilities. as for storytelling - you're definitely succeeding thus far on that front, as well! i'm ridiculously invested in your ongoing post-it au comic, and am so excited to see where it goes.
