True, firearms are really not very good weapons during the zombie apocalypse. They'd be good for taking out large groups of zombies, but for the most part they cause more trouble than they're worth. Especially considering all the maintenance and the possibility of a misfire or something going wrong when you need it.
Lol I'm a fan of zombies, but I don't really watch movies or shows about them much. I just play some zombie games and every now and then watch a video on YouTube. You should check out Epic How To's video on Zombie survival (and they've got lots of other cool videos like surviving while stranded on an island)

Yeah, probably one of the best things to have is an axe. They've got lots of uses, it's a weapon and a multipurpose tool, and if the back is flat you could probably even use it as a hammer (just as long as it isn't easy to break that way)
