Remember that scetch I shoved up in my scrap gallery? Ah, I doubt it, since noone commented. Eh, oh wells. Anyways, I sent it to my friend Shinju-chan and she re-drew it to this for me. I love it!Anyways, this isn't meant to be slashy. In her world, as a child she saw Stasrcream as Megger's child. I thought it actually made sense when she explained it to me, so this was spawned into exsistance from my mind. In my head, I imagined that Starscream was getting really cold where they were, and Megatron wanted to protect him a bit. So, he let him sleep on his lap
I thought the idea was mega cute for me, so I did a scetch and growled at it. It just wasn't right!Anyways, long story short, she did this for me and will greet me everyday now!

It is very sweet. I'm just... erm, I don't tend to think TFs do the shutdown thing unless they're not getting enough energon and have to conserve, so I'm a little "ooookaaaay" about TF sleeping pics (I also think excessive cold wouldn't be much of a problem, unless it's so bad that it's freezing their internal fluids... heat's the big danger).
But enough picking apart the technical aspects. It is a very sweet little pic, nice colors and shading as well. With the way I fight to draw mech, I can appreciate that drawing these poses was probably very difficult, so good job!

Anyways, the whole sleeping aspect. Think of them as a computer: They have plenty of energy to live on (energon reserves) but every now and then they need to relax and 'shutdown' for a while to refresh themselves. I think that, as they are robots, they wouldn't need to do this as much as, say, a human would, but they sure would need it I think. Like, maybe 4 hours in a 24 hour day?
But sure, they could run for days on end, but somehow I beleive they would need a hella long rest afterwards!
