"Sooo... this quarter, at SCAD, I'm in a 3D modeling class (those of you who know me and my stance on 3D, go snicker somewhere else)

Our final is to pick a favorite setting of a character from some franchise and model it. The only stipulation was that it shouldn't be animated or otherwise illustrated.... which wiped out 90% of my picks (those of you who know me and my literary choices, go laugh somewhere else). So I went with "The Doctor" from Doctor Who, which made the obvious choice for interior setting the TARDIS (his time/spaceship that looks like a 1960s british police box... on the exterior. For Americans, think that phone booth Superman used to change in)

So, out of combination of laziness, pride, and inspiration, I redesigned the tardis console room (mostly because there are too many buttons on the console to model)."

This is the finished (for now) version. Lit, textured, shaded and everything! There's a few things missing (for one, I wanted hanging cables, and wires leading down into the heart) so I'm gonna try and come back to it later. There are also a few little easter eggs hanging around the console room. (how many can you find? and which doctors do they belong to?) I wanted to do a few more, but some of them were beyond my scope as a 3D artist (primarily 2D artist, remember?)
