Hmm, what exactly is vocaloid?!? I have no clue but I am seeing this character ALOT these past few days. She looks sooo adorable
love her cat-like speaker ears and "power" buttons! I don't know what to make of her bangles? I see that some have drawn them as flat disks. I went giddy with her hair XD I know it's not supposed to be that over layered! But she's so fun to draw 
anyway,
I'm lending my dad my laptop for two weeks. WIPs will have to wait..sorry

Vocaloid is a voice synthesizing program.The vocaloids sing what you type on a kind of piano roll. Only problem is the programs really expensive £120-£200 each this one will probably be on the higher end of the scale since she's Vocaloid 3. Amazing fan art by the way

you DONT know what vocaloids are?!?!?! *GASP!!!* Go to youtube and type in "vocaloid" NAO! Vocaloid is a music program created by Yamaha corp thats like japanese autotune. The only diff is that you dont have to ever even pick up the mic. you choose your vocaloid and type in words into the program for it to sing. then you can fine tune the pitch and length and whatnot, and then mix music and BAM! you have an entirely digitally created song, down to the vocals! Look up Hatsune Miku, the first and most popular vocaloid! My favorite song by "her" is "Last Night, Good Night". and also look up "vocaloid concert" on youtube. they hold a concert for vocaloid-created songs every year in tokyo!

Utauloids are fan-made Vocaloids, but since they weren't originals they have their own category, one of the more well known Utauloids is Kasane Teto, do you know who she is? I've actually just looked up SeeU though, she is a new Vocaloid, the first one capable of Korean and Japanese.
