So the dark pencil is some sort of b? I only have soft ones the hardest being hb. They are great but when it comes to eyes/ dark hair I need harder ones.

Dark pencils are soft pencils, the b-pencils. The h-pencils are the light pencils.
9b is the softest and so the darkest pencil

Thank you! The scanner make my drawings lighter then they are, especially black parts. In real it is really black so I edited the drawing a little bit to make it look more like the real drawing
