Description What if the girl squirrel from the Sword in the Stone was turned into a human.

Some fans have nicknamed her Hazel. Found here [link]

But I'm naming her Guinevere after Arthur's queen and well the fact the girl squirrel was in love with him.

Made here [link]

The dress is not right for King Arthur's time period.

I just rewatched the movie, and I feel like that her name would have been named Guinevere too, but I had a feeling that she would have gone to like some old forest druid to have that spell casted on her.

I actually didn't even think of some old forest druid, that's actually a great idea.

I mean, I don't think Merlin wanted any reminder of what happened when he was a squirrel.

Funny. I had a similar idea AGES ago. It would have been interesting, alright.Β

You know?, considering Disney now owns Marvel, the superheroine known as "Squirrel Girl" comes to mind.Β

Maybe Merlin would've done so and giving her some intelligence like Archimedes so she can be with Arthur.

But even if she married Arthur those who have read and had a firm grasp on the Arthurian Legend know that she would fall for and have an affair with Sir Lancelot.

And anyone who reads Anderson knows that the Snow Queen is not a heroine, or that the Little Mermaid dies at the end.

Not to mention EVERYTHING Hercules gets wrong. Besides, even ifΒ they did bring up that part of the myth,Β it could easilyΒ turn out to be a vengeful Madam Mim in disguise (since she DOES know shapeshifting magic).

Indeed. The Disney animation Canon mostly deals with happy endings, so they wouldn't have Guinevere betray Arthur.

I've actually started a fic of my own using this concept. Yes I'm using the name Hazel, but mostly because it is most recognizable.

How about turning the squirrel into a human and teach her English and Camelotian royal manners in 6 months? How's this idea?

Maybe if Disney does a sequel of The Sword in the Stone, they can make her Guinevere. But it's highly unlikely that they will make a sequel to it.

you did know that Guinevere left with Lancealot. I think she did that after he cheat on her with his sister. he did not know that lady was his sister due magic. That was in the Merlin movie I think.

also hercules killed his wife and children, and the little mermaid turns into sea foam... one of the things i love about disney is the fact that they can make sad stories happy... so good... i hope they change it XD

Not to mention Hercules was born from an infidelity of Zeus to Hera, while he's the son of Zeus and Hera in the movie, while Alcmena is her adoptive mortal mother.Β

Yes I did, but in Disney if they had made the squirrel a human at the end, they would if had given Guinevere and Arthur an happy ending.
