I have to admit Demongo has like the coolest character design ever! Too bad he dies in the same episode he's introduced XDRelated content

I love demongo's character design and was hoping (the first time I saw the episode) that he'd be a repeat character that would show up in a later episode.. kind of like the Scotsman (omg his episodes are freaking hilarious XD) but he gets crushed. So.. yeah... Most of the villain designs were super cool actually. That series really had no limit to what they could do.. *sigh*

It is! And it also was so efficient even the most badass warrior ever had to cheat and beat him in an unconventional way.

But Demongo's one weakness (that Jack pointed out pretty quickly) is that without his enslaved souls (or "essences" as he put it) he's worthless and unable to defend himself. That's part of the reason Aku crushed him after he lost all his slaves. That and because Aku doesn't tolerate failure even from his most powerful minion.

Yeah aku has no time for all that he needs jack dead asap.. which makes me think about why he hasn't advertised that if jack manages to go back in time it would undo everything and every ONE. Like do a campaign that opens everyone's eyes that jack won't just undo aku but their existence too.. and as an added bonus he could throw in that he's kinda why they exist hah XD based on survival instincts jack wouldn't make as many friends and possibly those who oppose him would have a bit more fire in their bellies because they aren't just fighting for the reward but for their existence!

Yeah I always wondered why he doesnt set up a fake one that kills jack instead cus it sends him too far back before the earth was even there so he gets torn up in space XD then again that might be beyond akus powers?
And how does jack even know the time portals he finds will even put him in an era he needs to be? These are the things I need to know! XD
On another note my mom was going through my sketch book n saw the aku and Skitty pic and she was like 'Aw he likes it' lol she's a samurai jack fan as well XD I found her reaction funny

AH maybe!! Time travel can be so confusing @_@ cus what if he really IS meant to be in that time? Making huge differences in different creatures' lives and what-not.. You just reminded me I need to go find those comics~

You can either buy them (physical copies or digital ones ; you'll find those easily by googling "Samurai Jack comics IDW" or something like that) or download them if you don't have the money now. I downloaded them but intend to buy them whenever I can 'cause the more they sell the more they'll make new ones. ^^
If you download or buy digital copies you might need a new program to read them on your computer depending on what format they're in. It shouldn't be difficult to find though.
Anyway, more canon material means more stuff to take inspiration from while writing fanfics.

There are very diverse quality levels in fanfics, just like in published books.
We also must take into account that many fanfics are written by kids and teens who had never written fiction (original or fanfic) before. And the first thing you write pretty much always sucks. ^^ And that's ok! You have to practice with bad stuff before you can write good stuff.
I've been writing original fiction and fanfics alike for a few years now, and I gotta say one of the best things about Samurai Jack is how much freedom it leaves to fanfic writers. The show itself went into many different directions since the crew working on it were like "let's just throw whatever we want into the pot and see what happens", so WE can do almost anything we want as well while creating fanart. Also, it's pretty clear that what you get to see in the show and comics is just parts of Jack's adventure, not all of it ; we can fill in the blank ourselves.

Yeah, I loved that about Samurai Jack as a show because there is just SOOOO much freedom in it with all the different alien species and stuff XD And yeah, I get the whole 'lack of experience thing' but that's not what I was talking about..
Like, some things they have the characters do feels.. off? It isn't quite in the character's personality slot XD
But! It IS the individuals story~ I keep my contradictory thoughts to myself and its all for funnsies anyway~

Speaking of OCs, the SJ-universe also allows for pretty much any kind of OC you want. In canon Jack keeps meeting creatures and people that are very diverse but also one-time characters. The show has lots of characters but few actually appear more than once. Sometimes there are grumpy assholes who complain about other people's original characters in fanfics, but in the Samurai Jack fandom they're pretty much needed. xD

The Scotsman appears in like 3 episodes and it was like a love letter to the avid watcher I feel XD like if you saw his first appearance you knew things were going to be funny and epic XD
Yeah if an animation company ever pics it up there's SO much they can do! So limitless there aren't very many shows n what not that have that freedom!

I love the Scotsman (just like everyone else ^^), but his dialogue is a nightmare to write for a Frenchie like me. ^^" I'd use him much more in my fics otherwise. Oh, by the way, he's in the comics.
Anyway, not only you can do pretty much whatever you want in the fanfics without it feeling too out place with the canon (as long as you keep the canon characters in characters and stuff), but if you add alternate universes fics (AU) on top of that, the possibilities are infinite.

Since we never got an official ending, lots of fans write what they think the ending would be like. Personally I'm still clinging to the hope that we might get an official ending one day (whether it comes in the comics or if they do make that fucking movie) so none of my fics actually end the whole thing. ^^"

Does Jack prevail? What happens to the past that
shouldn't happen without Aku? Exactly when would

I guess either Aku could only open a portal in time ONCE or when a person who's already time-displaced (like Jack) enters a time portal it somehow automatically bring them back to where belong on the timeline.
'Don't know about the rest. The best solution would be for Jack to go to the moment right after Aku sent his past self to the future I guess. But if Jack kills Aku for good, the future world we see in the show would never exist...

Or I'll have a Gir moment: if he never gets sent to the past then that future never happens but if that future never happens then he won't come back from the past or get sent To the future *head explodes*

The problem of time paradoxes is never really addressed in the show but it's on every viewer's mind.
We know he WILL return to the past one day (see the end of Jack and the Travelling Creatures), but he will have to roam Aku's future world for years before it happens. What will happen to said future isn't 100% clear.

I will also feel complete if I ever beat the damn true areana in Kirby's triple deluxe! I've never let a game beat ME but this one is difficult XS I even get black trainer cards in pokemon I'm so thorough with beating games!

Well, we know that Jack will spend some time in the future... and apparently will be made king at some point? The vision of his older self was wearing a crown. I guess he will take the portal back home after killing Aku in the future, then go back in time to after their very first battle (so he won't run into his past self) and finally finish what he started centuries ago. After this he'll have to help his people rebuild their homeland. He'll have an empire to lead.
