Poor Ellis, I think he's blind to see what Nick is really like.

Ellis looked up with dumbfoundment at the man in the off-white suit. He worked hard to concentrate on the self-squabbling man as he tried to rid the green goo and red stained blood from his suit.

"Nick," Ellis sated, clear and firm,

The conman made no attempt to reply, yet continued to whine about the ruining of his supposedly $3000 suit.

"Nicolas," Ellis repeated, this time aware that the conman was nowhere near interested in listening.

"What!" Nick suddenly replied, whipping his body around to face the blushing hick. The man in the suit awkwardly lowered himself down from his high altitude above the boy, and rested flat on his feet.

The hick held his breath, as though he was semi-sure on what the reply from the conman would be to his statement. Yet, he pressed on with his phrase;

"Your so cool," he murmered, looking down a little and trying to avoid the punishing look of the conman. Although it wasn't there.

Ellis looked up, surpised at the other mans' facial expressions being calm and oddly content,

"Thanks," Nick smirked, gratitude inching out from his voice, which made the younger boy beam. What a responce.

They looked at eachother for a moment longer, examining eachothers brightening features.

"You wouldn't be able to help me get this shit off me would you?" Nick suggested, finally breaking the ominous silence,

Ellis beamed at the conman, glad to be finally appreciated by the older role-model,

"Sure thing, Nick!" He grinned, standing up and grabbing a scrubber that would ususally only be used on plates and cutlery. He began to massage the conmans stained back, eager to make the other male happy.
