Full title: In Recognition Of Disingenuous ActsThis is the cover for a mix cd I'm making for a friend. I honestly prefer the BW version of this better. This just isn't a successful painting. I don't think there's enough contrast for starters. It also seems to be lacking a central focal point. I should have drawn more attention to his hand. And I thought I'd try and paint a western style plaid shirt, but it didn't come off anywhere near as successfully as I had hoped. Ah well, you win some and you lose some . . .

Love it, especially the way you made it look like those French-Belgian bd books.
At first i was also liking better the BW one, but this here after a wile....it has another feel to it...more hot and messy..because of the colors.
It looks great as a music cover.
