.....it was a while, since I have submitted any drawing. This is just a practice drawing to get better understanding of Ballpoint pen as a drawing medium. Done solely with inexpensive black Bic Ballpoint pen.Thank you for watching and any comments are very welcome!!

"this is just a practice drawing" yeah right dude. it took me like 5 minutes of checking your gallery and getting half an inch from my computer screen to see that it is a drawing and not a photo. a long way of saying awesome drawing.

Thank you, I do work in ballpoint occasionally, but right now I am concentrating more on scratchboard which rocks which is great medium

i love the effect of how 3-D this is. its funny i stumbled on this picture, as i'm working on a hawk with the same look- it coming out of a box.

okay... i had to seriously pull my laptop screen inches away from my eyes to soak up all the details in this.
i just finished a quick little pencil drawing of a lion a few days ago, and i also love using bic (or almost dead pens) because of the soft grayscale you can get from a gentle touch, but this drawing has just floored me. really. using negative space to bring out the white whiskers is hard enough to do in pencil, and you did it in ink damn near flawlessly!
very glad i stumbled upon this image, the detail and everything in it is very... "wow".
