Description
One of my favourite actors, and he played these "bad ass" roles so well.....anyways, drawn with ballpoint pen. Critiques and comments are welcome. Thanks for looking,

Awesome detail. I love what you did with the paper, too. That was a great idea!

Sorry, I added this one earlier, and forgot to comment on it. (saw it, and had to get up and start drawing...thanks for the motivation by the way.) This is incredible, the likeness is spot on, and I love the whole feel of it.
Just a couple of questions...Any kind of special ball point pen, or just your everyday Bic variety? And how did you do that to the paper? The drawing itself is incredible, and with the addition of the texture in the paper, well it was an instant fav in my book...

Thank you very much for your kind comment...I am glad that it has inspired you, and it means a lot to me. To answer your questions:
I use the cheapest ballpoint pens, normal Bic, they sell them in US 12 in one pack, and I think they are incredible medium. The paper is easy to make, take any normal drawing paper and spill some coffee or tea over it or apply it with brush.

Ok, that's what I thought it was, with the paper, I just didn't want to assume something else, and come out looking like an idiot. But isn't it funny, how sometimes the cheapest things make the best supplies. like my grandfather told me once, it's not the $100 pencil, brush, or whatever that makes the picture great...it's the person holding that pencil......

oh dont worry...it is funny that you mentioned grandfather because mine always told me that you can create a masterpiece on a napkin....however, I have not tried it yet

Come to think of it, I think mine said something like that too. It's a longgggg story, but one of my biggest regrets in life, is that I didn't get to know him better. (the story involves divorce, him moving to california, and my mom literally having to look for him...) But he was the best artist I have ever seen...(next to Rembrandt of course) but not far behind....

It is funny, I am the only one from my family who takes the art a little serious. So, no artists in mine!

Well...in my family, or what I consider my family, I'm the only one. No one else can draw a straight line with a ruler....my grandfather, though an artist, and his sons, my uncles are all artists...but really, I haven't had much contact with them. Though, I do hope someday, that a lot can be resolved, and maybe more contact...but for now...

amazing likeness! the colors are perfect, it just looks too damn cool only i don't understand what's going on with the side of his face in the left side of the pic, it looks a bit too angled to me. but still, gotta fave this, hehe

Yeah...I know what you mean, but the reference was really really bad; however, that is why I chose is
, so I guess I just drew what I saw on the reference picture. Well, thank you again for your support, I really appreciate it and hope to see some of your wonderful work soon!!
