Well, look at the bright side - at least they didn't call you Rainbow Thrash
This one came out of nowhere, just one night I felt like I don't want to do absolutely anything... and about six hours later - POOF!... I think I never did an episode art before... so, there goes my first one. Really felt with the RD here, people used to call me crappy nicknames back in basic school too... Be strong, RD, luck will turn around one day as it did for me

What they should do is issue a public apology from the totally inexperienced writer they hired for Dashies wonderbolt episode, then write a new oneΒ that makes up for all the mistakes they did with her, explaining behind the scenes why things happened as they did. That'd be great.
Dash's Wonderbolt episode went from the main bit of her becoming one to
"Btw your a wb now and this episode is actually about us teasing you and laughing at you"

meh, I don't know, I kinda liked it, despite what others say about it. The point was good - failing to do the good first impression could be a very serious problem in real life, so as far as the moral of the episode goes, that was fine. As for the execution, well... it did have few blind spots, like when Dash tried to mimic every other pony from mane six... like, why would she do that, not to mention a lot of empty lines during the scene, written down just so she has something to say there. The final showdown felt to be a bit forced, but that's problem of multiple episodes. I did like the cotton candy Pinkie Pie joke a lot though

a better lesson could have been taught by simply having Dash go to Spitfire AND TELL THEM blatantly whyΒ she does not want to be called that nickname.
Bam episode over few mins in. That was not the actual moral though, had nothing to do with first impressions the ending made it seem like the moral was "it's ok to be bullied as long as it's all in good fun, as we have bullied everypony before you"
Seriously, Dash is like the only pony of the mane 6 to never hide her feelings, yet this episode makes her do just that. All it would have taken was for Dash to act like herself and the episode would be so much better.
But, all the good writers have left :/
