I really love doing botanical studies! All the images you can see here are drawn from actual plans I collected on my walks through forests and fields
As I've always considered them as sketches and not actual finished works, I never uploaded them to DA but featured them on my blog only. But now my boyfriend did a collage of our favourite ones from last year and I thought I might share it!
Done with various traditional art materials: copic markers, watercolours, pastells, coloured pencils... depends on what I had with me each day.

It depeneds, usually it's different sizes - which is much easier, but I when I'm outside I am limited to my little travel kit and use my travel brush only, one of these: 2.bp.blogspot.com/_rkJPRqoug68…

Wow, you really can draw & colour plants very well. It's beautiful. This reminds me of the artwork that would be in encyclopedias or books for learning about plants & flowers.

This looks exactly like the spreads you get in craft magazines for decoupage purposes!
