well it more of a joke,from Talia seeing Anne collecting sea shells earlier
but well one can say it is like she keep in mind how Anne´s and other targets laughter are,in other words memorize the sound of the laughter
now that I think about a plant girl might could collect with sorta "eating" the laughter with photosynthesize, still it would still be memory based xD
