Yes, SURPRISE.
These characters look really nice as a pair, and had a lot of interesting variation for painting. It's been a minute since I have done humanoids too!
I am pleased that I captured their characterizations; I must admit I did not know what I was doing. I was able to glean a little bit of what you guys must have in mind for them from their expressions and how they look in some other pieces...so I tried to use that!

OH MAN I AM GLAD, HAHA.
I didn't know much about them, but I tried to snoop other artwork to try to maybe at least get an idea about them. Part of why I redid sketch after sketch was because I was entirely unsatisfied with their interactions/chosen pose/everything looked stiff. After coloring everything, and adding some basic soft-shading, I decided that I would be happier with the finished product if I at least did a little paint-work to the face (i hate my cleaned up linework and how flat things end up looking), and I...got carried away.
So, thank you for your patience, I hope I was able to exceed expectations in exchange for the wait!
