Update 8/13/18:
So I have gone full-time freelance! Instead of slots I will be taking commissions with the intent of fulfilling weekly financial goals. I've done a ton of preparation (and quit my day-job and moved away!) for this moment, and am very excited to be able to treat this like a real job with fair turn-around times. I think it's a good move for myself and my commissioners, and though potentially fiscally stressful, will bring a lot of fulfillment to my life. Between commissioned pieces, Patreon, and design sales, I believe that this is a very doable career path.
