    HISTORY

    Wireframe was born and raised in Orita, and can’t see himself being anywhere else; he’s a homebody. His father worked as a city planner and his mother was a software engineer before eventually working from home as a freelance web-designer. The combination and exposure to his parents’ careers would ultimately influence his personal career choice. He questioned them about work often, absorbing their answers like a sponge. He pestered them about joining them at work, and as he got older collaborated with his mother when she had become a freelancer.

    In school, he did reasonably well in all subjects, but excelled in math, science, and art. He really excelled at art. His pieces were as wild and as strange as his mind and had an awful lot to say for such a young Koltherian. He specialized in large-scale, flat-works and favored spray-paints, chalks, and pigments. The praise of instructors and his parents did wonders for his ego, as did the adoration and jealousy of his peers (which may have all been in his head).

    After graduating, he was quick to move out. His parents supported him in return for little graphics assets or snippets of code-work, while he took his time trying to find a job doing similar work. As he “hit the pavement” so to speak, looking for these jobs he took to extensive video-game playing in addition to his personal work. His Civilian File landed him interviews left and right, but he was a poor interviewer and was also consistently rejected. He was pretty sure he was just over-qualified. He began to make dumb little games for his personal enjoyment in his unemployment.

    As he was visiting his parents’ for a home-cooked meal (Wire cannot cook and generally lacks the common sense of most adults), his mother brought up his newer hobby and asked why he didn’t move forward with it since the job hunt had been going so poorly. Wireframe confessed that he didn’t have the money for equipment or licensing fees or that he would have liked to move forward with making games. His parents excitedly offered to back him, purchased a small office space, and got him set up. His first game, Nose-dive, netted him some success and his independent business took off from there. He now runs a small team of about 40 total employees and makes larger-scale titles. He may be an annoying team player, but he’s a great boss with a lot of ideas.

    PERSONALITY

    Wire is a Kolther of near-unshakeable confidence. He’s a show-off. Arrogant and boasting an elitist attitude; no one compares to him and he couldn’t care less if you’d disagree. He’s feisty and eager; always trying to worm his way under someone’s skin. His manner of speaking is as rapid-fire (and foul) as the pace of his mind, for Wireframe is always thinking ahead.
    Outside of his work, he’s about as unreliable as he looks, often not doing favors asked of him until he’s really pushed to do so, and even then you’d better do a follow-up. He’s self-serving and protects himself well. It’s hard to determine if his personality is a front or if he really is the way he acts. When it comes to friends, though they are far and few (wonder why), he’ll jump to their defense be it needed physically or verbally. He views his friends as an extension of himself.

    His vicious and unwarranted teasing has earned him numerable blows to the head and a few broken teeth. Want to make a strike at his appearance? Many have tried, but Wire loves himself like few others do. Instead of laying him low, he’ll have a comeback ready, as pointed as his nose. They’ll probably make you self-conscious for years.
            Perhaps one of the most infuriating things about Wire is that he’s a fantastically accurate judge of character. He’s hyper and impatient, but incredibly observant. Or perhaps it’s that few things get to him, thanks to his near-impenetrable wall of sarcasm.

            On his days off he’s lazy and unhygienic; his home is an absolute mess of take-out boxes, dirty clothes, and various odds and ends. He keeps it dim or dark and typically falls asleep in a nest of pillows and blankets on the floor rather than in his bed.
