I really like how you have these ships and space station displayed! One has to blow up the image to appreciate the great detail. Nice work!

The original set-up is just laying them on a piece of flat black foam core board. Then I remove shadows, blur spots darken and over contrast the image and ad the star field ans "suns" all with GIMP for Linux. Sometimes it works well and gives a space dust or nebula effect other times it is not as cool!

ok, I thought they were just lying on some tabletop-wargame lining. (Probably because I have one pretty similar looking somewhere)

I would have to credit any art I used in that case! I never want to use someone's work without due acknowledgement. So. . . I do this instead and it truly is mine for better. . . or worse!
