So, many of you may know that recently, to become a better artist, I've started to "attempt" to ink my own work. So I thought I'd try it out on ol Batsy and looking at the final shot, i can see I still have a lot to learn.This one was done on regular computer paper using Faber-Castell brush, fine, and marker tipped pens and micron 005 and 08 brand pencils.
critiques are more than welcomed...shit talking will not be tolerated so watch what you say.

Great work, as far as critiques go the only real one I can think of is that you should try to feather your lines more. Otherwise this is great!

YES. Black lines with white background looks so much better!
Even so, when you look at the white bg you can still see a lot of grain. I think you need to figure out a way to clean up your linearts a bit more...to make them more professional. Use brightness/contrast, and levels...and maybe try making sure your paper and scanner are both free of particles when you scan? Honestly, the grain really does take away from the impact of the image.
Otherwise, the inking looks pretty good so far. Your lines are nice and smooth and even.

thanks for the tips..when i blew it up I could see all the little white dots that I didn't see before. I posted another inked one that I ran through photoshop first..didn't know quit what I was doing lol. but I played with it for a little while.

It looks cool.I would add a little more detail to the hands an mask..you'll learn like I did how your style will change with the ink..try inking it up with solid blacks and then photoshop the whites in,I use that trick..keep hitting it up..
