Sorry for taking so long to continue the conversation, but I just remembered something that confuses me a bit. In the dialogue, Squall says they "have a few days". Does that mean that their trip is going on for several days? Or just that they have a few days off so they can afford to spend one on a trip?

Admittedly, I think both of them would be cool with going on a trip together like that, it's just a little bit weird when you think of the logistics if they do spend days on this (like, did they bring sandwiches or something? Do they sleep on the rails? Or are there stops on the way for travellers?). I know it's just a small detail but it's the kind of stuff I tend to overthink.

Then again, I remember wondering the same thing during the game, especially since it looks like evening when he leaves but morning once he meets with the rest of the team. Speaking of that, I never understood how they got ahead of him even though they left after him.
