A loud rumble echoed in the city as Dusk's belly let out yet another growl to signal the giant's hunger. Dusk put his hand on his belly.

"Man, this growing is making me crazy hungry... I've already eaten a dozen markets and restaurants and I feel as empty as ever!"

"You tell me..." replied Thorn Heart as he emptied yet another restaurant's contents into his hungry maw and gulped it all down. "Soon there won't be any food left here."

Dusk looked around the city that seemed to get ever smaller from his point of view. All buildings of notable size with anything edible in them had been plucked and emptied. And they were both still so hungry. Then he turned his gaze down at the park they were sitting at. He reached down, pulled a handful of trees from their roots and showed them to Thorn with a smile.

"Well, at least salad table is still here~" he laughed as he stuffed the trees into his mouth. One would think it'd taste rather bland, but to Dusk, it was delicious. Maybe the growth did something to alter his taste.. or that he was just so hungry. He didn't mind. Thorn ripped a good chuck of the park out too while licking his lips, and the city watched as the two giants feasted on every single tree of the park until all that was left was a ravaged grassland that looked like it had witnessed a hurricane, with occasional trees laying here and there.

Dusk let out a loud burp that shook the buildings and patted his belly. As if to respond, it let out yet another loud rumble.

"No good... I'm still so hungry... And there isn't anything else really left..."

Dusk reached to the city to pluck a single building from its base. He shook it around and people still hiding inside fell out to the streets.

"You better come out, folks," he said. "I'm going to eat this structure, and I'd prefer if none of you were inside it as I do."

When no more people fell out, Dusk brought the building to his face and took a hearty bit out of the concrete structure as if it was a tasty sandwich. Again, it tasted so good~ He gobbled the entire thing down with few bites. He wasn't sure if he got all the people out. Probably not, but what can you do. At least he tried.

Thorn Heart followed his friends lead, and they begun to gobble down the city itself to satisfy their hunger. And try as they might to shake all the people out, they couldn't help that some inhabitants of the city met a cruel end by being sent to either of the giants' stomachs along with their former homes. Helicopters were swarming around the two titans by now, broadcasting their ravenous destruction for whole world to see, as the city bit by bit disappeared into the hungry maws of the giants. And as the sun begun to set and painted the land with its golden rays, nothing but ruins and barren land was left of the formerly busy city. The people that survived had long since fled and even the TV personnel flew away in fear of the giants turning their hunger on them, once the city was done. Among the desolation, Dusk and Thorn sat together, watching the sunset, finally satisfied and full. Feeling happy and warm, they laid down on the ruins of the city and fell asleep, dreaming of all the fun they could still have tomorrow!
