After a full day of growing and a hearty meal from the city itself, Dusk and Thorn Heart had laid down to the ruins of their former playground and fallen asleep with their stomachs full. Unbeknownst to them, they kept on growing even in their sleep, and their massive bodies had long since crossed the borders of the park they had settled in and were now stretching across the entire city, plowing ground and debris along them as they kept on expanding in size. Their towering forms now resembles dark, ominous mountains and their light snoring rumbled in the air like approaching thunder.

Down at the ground, the humans had done their best to repel the two giants, but to no avail. Military had been called in to fire at them with all their might, but even the strongest missiles could not even so much as wake the monsters up, or make them stir in their slumber. The generals and other officials were already consider desperation actions and send in a nuke, but that'd be extremely hazardous for everything in the area. But if the giants kept on growing and rampaging, it'd be even worse...

The scientist of the Research Lab responsible for the experiment that caused all this were furiously trying to discover a solution to the dilemma under the penalty of death sentence for all the harm their secret and unauthorized experiments had caused. They tried different formulas, ran diagnostics, tweaked equipment, performed experiments, but nothing seemed to work! The creatures towering above them didn't even stop growing, let alone shrink to their original size (or at all, for that matter). The situation among the humans was all and all extremely chaotic and stressed, not made any easier by the constant rumbling of the Earth as the two titans kept on growing slowly in their sleep. At least they had something resembling peace to try to solve the situation as long as the two remained asleep...
