I just had to reupload this. I couldn’t part with it.
This is SETO KAIBA & HIS FATHER! A misconception people had before about this was that it was Seto Kaiba and his son. NOPE the man in black is what I believe Seto and Mokuba’s Father looked like. He has Seto’s hair and Mokuba’s blue grey eyes.

Aww, I can imagine seto remembering his dad when things get rough with gozaburo. And when hozaburo asks why seto doesn’t call him dad anymore he would say, “ I already have a father, and you’re no longer worthy of that title.”

He never was, look at what he did to Noah, he and Seto were nothing more than heirs and pawns he can discard and god forbid if he ever thought of making Mokuba his prodigy to. And sadly Seto and Mokuba's mother died when she gave birth to Mokuba so Mokuba can't remember her like Seto did and only had his father.
Yeah, Konami and the publishers made his series more for games than the series being around the characters and backgrounds themselves. Yugioh was originally gonna be a horror anime with some board games and stuff but we still got to know the characters a bit like in the manga with Joey's dad being an alcoholic and Tristan being in a strained relationship with his dad to, and we don't know anything about Tea's parents or Serenity's eye disease or anything else about Joey and Serenity's mother or if Seto got revenge on his biological family who took his and Mokuba's inheritance and dumped them off at the orphanage like suing them or have them put in jail.

What Takahashi said was when he was doing the manga and the duel monsters card game came up more people started to ask him about it and how they could play the game. Yeah Yugioh was meant for all types of games and was wayyyy more violent and stuff. Seto was also not supposed to be a reoccurring character either but fans kept asking who he was and stuff.
Gozaburo is a sick twisted bastard and I hate how he’s treated them but I feel bad for Seto because he was trying to shield Mokuba by having Gozaburo hurt him instead and I guess he feels like if he told Mokuba all of what happened to him he’d feel like he’s worrying Mokuba too much. That’s why he mostly keeps everything to himself and thinks crying and telling others is a weakness. Also I want to know more of Noah’s background too the poor kid! I hated him at first but I adore him now I wish Seto could have made him a body or something.

Yeah, the cards are what got people interested in Yugioh so they probably stuck to it to get the series more attention as the merchandise grew, but sadly its becoming more of a market scheme as they milking Yugioh with every new series made just to keep selling the cards.
Indeed he was, I also like to know about Noah's mother and Gozaburo's wife. Did his wife die? And was Noah's car accident orchestrated by Gozaburo's enemies to make him lose an heir? And did Noah know Siegfried before his death?

Yep Yugioh is just to sell cards now. The stories for the newer series are not even as great either I kinda stopped watching at Yugioh 5Ds. I watched some of Zexal and Arc V but they didn’t really grab my attention.
And I believe in the future *cough* I’d like to draw Noah with his mom and yeah what happened to her btw? And possibly the car accident wasn’t “an accident” at all. That would be more likely to make sense. And maybe Gozaburo went crazy because something happened to his wife and then Noah was run over later...it doesn’t really excuse his torment on Seto and Mokuba but maybe just maybe he was nicer back in the day and not as cruel idk

Yeah, she is definitely the gozaburo of the family and wears the pants in the family. Siegfrieds dad was much nicer and calmer in comparison to her with how she treated Leon and favoured Siegfried.
I feel like she was more eager for Schroeder Corp to succeed from how she acted and the fact she was in charge of Siegfrieds education at the time to. And with Noah and how he suceeded in his studies would be a threat.

Yeah, she’s seems like the manipulative one in the family treating Leon like trash (I love Leon such a sweetie) he was just trying to prove himself to his family and Siegfried too. And I’m sure their mom was NOT easy on Siegfried either. I’m sure their dad lost it with their mom was constantly shoving the Schroeder name down their throats. And it seems like a twisted thing they would do to not get Noah to be the heir so they could have the upper ranks.
