  "Can I ask you something?" The boy was cross-legged on the bed browsing through scans of an old scrapbook.

Nicole glanced over her shoulder to see what Brandon might be alluding to.

"About the photos? Sure", she replied.

He glanced at the pictures again and then turned his look at the girl.

"Some of these people have circles above their heads. Like a halo." Brandon drew a circle above his own head to demonstrate. "Does that mean anything?"

Nicole sighed quietly and she had that look on her face she always gets when she's reminiscing of something from a very long time ago.

"Back when the curators were still around, it wasn't uncommon for them to resurrect people", she explained.

The girl hadn't finished her response but Brandon's eyes widened and he had to confirm whether he got that right.

"From the dead?"

"Yes", Nicole said. "It didn't seem to matter how the person died or how long ago, the curators would sometimes bring them back to life. And those people would always have a halo like that."

Brandon looked back at the photos and scrolled through a few more.

"There's many of them", he pointed out and raised his look back at Nicole.

  "Can Zero do that?" he asked.

She chuckled. "If he can, he has a lot of explaining to do."
  Her distant gaze evaporated and she showed a brief smile before returning to her work.
  "There should be something in the archive on resurrection if you're interested. Those are some OLD files though. We haven't seen anyone with a halo in centuries, so I haven't touched them", she added.

  Brandon sunk into thought. Life must have been so different back then.

Woke up this morning with an idea so here we are. Haven't drawn Ao in so long.
