Description
Hmm...it turned out ok. The dotted smudgey pattern looks less awesome when scacnned. I had a version in pink I was working on... I might finish that, too. That's it.Copic Markers, Prismacolor Markers, Micron pens.
6 or 7 hours?
Edit: Sorry if this appears twice in your watch. I decided to shrink the image for better viewing. Plus, it will load a lot faster!
Edit II: I'm really sorry again! I just cropped out the white that was on the edge of the image. I'm gonna make sure to fix up the images nice and pretty before actually submitting them from now on...

woah O.O great work! the swirl effect, and nice color choice! the cold blue of the eyes, the warm red and orange for the clothes, and the black back ground behind the white hair *o*

I really like the copic sketch because they're easier to fill medium sized spaces in with easily and smoothly. It's like watercolor I can actually control. I wish they didn't dry quite so fast, though. >_<

Oh wow! This is amazing! x__x You have such good clean detail in all of your artwork. And I LOVE your style--especially in the faces. And the colors here--oh me goodness clemency! I love the contrast. *faints*

This is really nice. I love how you incorporated the the swirls into the suit. It makes it seem like the man/woman is on fire!

Beautiful, swirling energy. I especially like the hair. In full view, the colors are subtle and wonderful. I love how the warm, red/orange energy surrounds the utterly arresting, still face in the middle. The eyes are such a great contrast--deep and cool blue. I love how you did them, lighter in the middle but with no pupils gives them an illusion of great depth, I think. I interpret the expression differently every time I look at it. Love how it makes me think and wonder.

Hello, I found your pic through the marker-club and I have to say that's a very nice work here
I love the flow and swirls in the composition, and the colors are a rare sight in this combination but work very well. It's also a great idea to give the cloth texture by just trying a different technique with the markers. You could develop this further into a great, unique style!
The pic is a bit flatly shaded overall - that's your choice of course, whether you want flat colors or deep shadows, but I personally like at least a few darker shadows for accentuating, or applying it on at least some spots you want to stand out more, like eyes for example.
That's all. Keep on making such pretty artworks!

I was a little surprised to see markers in the finished project, but it works well! muahaha, I call it MARKER MAAAGIC!
You have some nice skin shading going on and there's something attractive about the eyes.
(I did think that it was a man though... I think it was the collar and lack of obvious eyelashes.)
Great job!

It was actually supposed to be a girl in the beginning, but now it's kind of...I'm not sure. It doesn't matter. ^_^ Thanks for the comment!

Maybe you could adjust it in photoshop or something...because scanners are murders. XD But I think it looks lovely as is!

Yeah...I'm pretty bad with any digital art programs. All I can do is crop, basically. But that's a good idea; Photoshop adjustment would help it look a lot better. Thanks for the comment! (Once I had to most fantastic scanner ever, but then it died. All other scanners I have used since suck. Ahh...memories. ;_

hehe, same here. I can't do much than crop and adjust colors. Really? To have a scanner like that one time would make others really inferior. So sorry.

Sure looks good, but you have to work the hair. I love the combination of red and orange. The face looks androgine - that's another point and I like the idea of transforming clothes, or hands or whatever into... wings?

Thanks for the constructive criticism.
The hair is actually about three shades of gray...it's very hard to see on laptop screens, and my scanner didn't do a very good job of picking it up, either.
I guess they're wings? I'm not even sure. ^_^;
