This doesn't even look like a fractal to me. It looks like draped fabric or an abstracted mountainside covered in snow. How?
Anyway it's neat.

i believe it's from a Martin formula, which is a type of gnarl. Β gnarls aren't technically fractals, although they share some of the same features and are created using the same software. Β i have a shit-ton of gnarls of all different shapes in my gallery. Β indeed, 2 of my 3 DDs are gnarls.

I love the sense of fold here. It is so realistic!

I love it! It looks like some folds from a silk cloth.

This is really different. I like! I can't decide if it's pages of a book or endless unfolding cloth (both more conceptual yet lifelike). Whatever... it's very intriguing.

i really like this one, myself. the forms, lighting and texture all came together in a very neat way for me.

It looks like some ancient mural depicting the meeting of the sea and the earth.
