I like the four eyes; it makes it look like the character and scene belong in some sci-fi/fantasy, swashbuckling graphic novel. :3
Like others have said, it reminds me of Treasure Planet, which is a great movie, so that's a good thing. ^^ I'm off to browse through your gallery now.

It's very well done, but I don't know why this creature has four eyes? Never forget about anatomy while creating a character, even most unreal. Eyes are mostly spherical, so in this case such big eyes are placed too close. They would touch each other inside the skull.
Sorry, but it's my impression.

It's hard to look at the eyes in my opinion. It's probably a psychological instinct or something. It looks like the first pair of eyes could be the real ones, but the bottom pair as well. It's like my eyes want to switch between hiding one pair of eyes to the other.
