Haha, I spend way too much time worrying about the color of my injuries. It's like, I want them to be juuust right. For some reason. .___. Is that weird??
I used a black eye I had once for reference for all my stuff like this. It ended up turnin green, and that sort of freaked me out.

I use my old injuries as refs too! Haha I feel kinda awesome now knowing someone else does that too.
A lot of really deep bruises, as they heal, turn some pretty gross colors.

Ahahahaha yeahhhhhh. I got punched in the ass in a mosh pit, and had a big hand shaped bruise... It looked gross while it was healing, too, which made it even more disturbing.

Yea I dislocated both knees (Not at the same time thankfully!) and they bruise a deep blackish purple and as it heals it turns bright yellow and I freaked out. One of them has been surgically fixed so it doesn't dislocate anymore but the other still does it from time to time.

My boyfriend fell off a cliff and somehow survived, but he ripped this massive hole in his knee and was high on Vicodin for the next... Forever.

I've been shot three times (back twice and one in my butt, no joke, shot in the ass...), stabbed more times than I can count (I've got some cool scars), hit by a car once (Cracked almost all my ribs and dislocated my shoulder), lots of cuts and scrapes and bruises from fights. My jaw also pops like hell from a good crack I got once. I also used to self-harm and have a lot of stories from those days.

Walked away from a fight. Lucky for me the idiot wasn't a very good shot. An inch higher with one of the ones in my back and I'd be in a wheelchair. The other one in my back was way out to the side in my lower back. He fired off three shots pretty quick though. I got up and walked home though. Adrenaline is a godsend. So is a pain tolerance that's let me walk on two blown out knees for four years.

this place is rather small considering it has a marine base
