Look, if you've taken issue with me putting forth correct information? Too bad. All I did was state a pure and simple fact. My comment wasn't a flame. Rex came first. The basis of the character has existed in print a full decade longer than Prototype. That kind of invalidates the idea of him being "cyborg Alex Mercer." Even in jest. It's more like Alex Mercer is "the organic Rex." That's all I'm getting at.
Yet I understand that most people don't know about the 1999 short lived comic book series. And that's why I didn't initially come in here with flames at the ready.
But hey... If you want to have the last word? Feel free. I've said my part at this point and I'm not interested in engaging you in a snark/sarcasm battle. As is, I've already spent more than enough words on this and on you.
