Description
this coat IS a desert ranger coat, BUT i haven't seen a SINGLE trench coat or duster coat ANYWHERE.i offer this for free because i'm sure there are plenty of people looking for a long tailed coat such as this.
credit: for extracting and converting into XNAlara
for RE-converting into MMD
and bethesda for making the game!
rules: don't redistribute, just cuz i'm handing it out doesn't mean i want you too. i did a HELL of alot of work to get the model this coat is based on to work properly, so that the coat works like it should, and stealing is not cool AND WILL BE REPORTED
AND do credit me!!!!
other than that do feel free to edit, but please don't redistribute those either please?

Overall, this is a great coat. I like the style and design. If this was an item in real life, I would wear it.
MMD wise, it can be very difficult to work with. The arms are sort of 'awkwardly posed' which can make it incredibly hard to use properly. It would take work in other modelling programs to fix this. Another negative is when physics are turned on, the corners of the coat sort of fold in on each other. When attached onto a model, this problem fixes itself on most models, depending on what is underneath it.
The textures are brilliant, very realistic and give the model a very rough and unique style. It is also a very high quality item and looks great when put on other highly realistic models.
My favorite part of this is collar. I don't know what it is about it, it just looks great.
Like you said, trench coats are in high demand within the MMD-Community, which, I feel is this items USP.

This is almost perfect for my Jefferson model. I'd love to use it.... but I can't. It's definitely a wonderful contribution to the community though.

I would need to do a lot of texture editing to make it match, but I'm not very good at recreating them.

I'm... having trouble with the physics to this model...

I tried to fix them, but for some reason it doesn't matter what I do. its folding the ends in to each other correct?

yeah, and like i said, I couldn't find a solution to that problem, you are free to remove the physics from it if you want, cuz honestly I don't know how to fix it other than that.

I did. Just replaced them to Fbones. I think I know what the deal is, though. The Coat was originally from Fallout New Vegas, right? That game didn't add physics to outfits like that. And the coat automatically attaches itself to the legs, so physics may not be it's strong suit.

maybe, but certain characteristics don't carry over when converted, and I didn't rip the original model myself, so I dun actually know.

I am actually working on a model edit right now. I may get to this coat sometime tomorrow. If I end up fixing the physics I'll definitely note you with the finished product.
