Description 1. Draw a circle

2. Drawing the guidelines:
When drawing the guidelines take in to consideration which way the pony's head is facing, the point at which the lines cross is the way the head faces.

3. Drawing the eyes:
When drawing the eyes the bottom quarter of the eye is bellow the guideline, best what is to draw the eyes and split it into 4 sections this also may help in step 5.

4. Drawing the ears:
The bottom of ears starts at the guideline and curves up to just above the circle and then curves down towards the top of the eye. depending on what main your pony will have you may not need to draw the other ear, last thing to do is draw the line in the ear.

5. Drawing the nose and mouth:
The nose starts just above the crossing of the lines and follow out in the direction which the head is facing, from the end of the follow and then towards the bottom circle.

6. drawing the face:
First you may want to erase the guidelines to see better, first the nose which goes down and away from the head next is the mouth on the tutorial I have done a smile but you can do whatever you want but the mouth is open and you would see the other side join the top and bottom of the mouth together finely the eyes you can go nuts with the eyes if you want.

7. Drawing the neck:
The neck is two lines which come down from the head and away from each other.

8. Drawing the body:
This can be a pain but this is how I do it, first I draw two circle the one below the head is just a bit smaller than the one which is the flank of the pony, next you draw around the circles making a been shape and the dip of the been is the back of the pony.

9. Drawing the legs:
First decide how long you want the legs (pony legs are usuriously the length from the centre of the body to the top of the head), next draw the guide lines i have draw on step 9 to get the hooves the right place, first draw the front legs these are not pipe shape the legs are wider at the bottom than the top also they curve a bit. next the back legs these an oval for the top of the leg and the front leg shortened with top rounded off and the front of the back legs is a curve.

10. Go bananas!
Finely you erase all the guidelines, then make gap were the neck meets the head and then your done apart from just adding you special touches to make it your own.

I hope this tutorial has help anyone in anyway, if you have used this tutorial then I would love to have a link to what you have done and would also like it if you credit me in the description of your drawing.

If you have any questions or problems please say in the comments and I will reply as soon as possible.

Hope you have fun and never stop drawing

Great! You don't know how excited I am to have you aboard!

The only real things you need to know are:

We don't accept anything too bloody or that needs a mature filter, and...

...well, that's basically it! XD

I dunno, I guess when I accept drawing into the group, I check the description to see if the drawer wants feedback, and if they do, I oblige! ^^

But I don't want this all to feel like a huge, extra burden, so just tackle what you want C:

Thank you again!
