This is an amazing piece! While I'm not acquainted with the show, I have to say, this makes me want to watch it!
The use of lighting in this artwork is my favorite thing about it. It conveys a sense of personality that is backed up by the facial expression and position of the character across the canvas (such as the way he is tilting his head) and it gives a good accent to his features. The lighting source is executed astoundingly well, and it gives a smooth, natural feeling to the artwork.
As well, the texture in places such as the hair, the eyes, the skin, and his jacket really give a sense of life to this artwork. Each part has a different texture.
May I just say, those eyes are so stunning? I absolutely love how they pop so much!!
