“Yaaaahhhhh!”  The yell pieced my ears as I awoke – not really surprising me.
My eyes met with two other blue eyes stricken with insanity.  I knew those eyes anywhere.
“Steve, what is wrong?”  I asked trying to communicate with the white bunny.
You see I’m Rayanna, I live with the rabbids.  Every last insane one.  These bunnies (the rabbids) have captured me a few years ago mistaking me for this “Rayman” – what is a Rayman?  Instead of letting me go they have kept me as entertainment, forced to have the ability to complete a certain activity.  Of coarse after completed four in one day I may return to my cell.
I know serving for bunnies – silly, eh?  The only reason I lost this argument was that the big black rabbid about a few feet taller, meaner, and scarier then me.  I wasn’t planning on having those cracked knuckles implanted to my face.
But luckily I’ve made a friendship with a bunny not trying to push me into dancing or being a singing teacher or feed other rabbids for entertainment.  His name you ask?  Well, obviously, it’s Steve.
Trying to pull me out of bed Steve kept screaming.
I knew it was urgent, he kept screaming a name but I couldn’t understand fully.  The bunnies do know English but who said they spoke is well (or clearly).
I agreed to follow him.  Out he went through the jails metal walls where temperatures dropped as soon as I left my cell.  Moss and rust remained on the walls with concrete floors.  I’ve been pulled to the arena where the rabbids screamed wildly as the sun hit my eyes.
Once my eyes met with the person standing in there was what hit me – I would know the person instantly.
“Is it…?”  Those are the words I could bare to get out, I felt as if my heart skipped a few beats.
I finally understood what Steve was yelling: “Rayman!”

“Soy capitan, soy capitan!”  I sang into the microphone as the community of bunnies cheered.
Of coarse singing for the bunnies in one of my activities I have to complete.  La Bamba was one of the most popular songs for these animals and its stayed that way for years.
“Bamba, bamba!”  The song ended as soon as I sang the last lyrics.  Bunnies screamed for more but I’ve had enough.
The club was dark, only light was from the disco floor with multi-colored panels the constantly changed while so did the colored lights above.
Jumping off stage I was relieved that my activities were complete.  I squeezed through the crowd while majority still scream for more.
A faint voice out of the screaming caught my attention causing me to spin around instantly, tripping over another rabbid at my feet.  After falling backwards I realized I have squashed about three bunnies while they tripped about ten others.
The happy cheers soon turned to yelling of pain and panic.  I felt a tight grip at my hair and a pulling sensation.  The large, meaner, scarier bunny with the cracking fists and a metal muzzle was holding once I understood what went wrong.
“Hey … long time no see,” I gave a weak smile.
I took a glance of the world that now lays underneath me, the crowd still in panic except one person, but not a bunny, stood out not in panic but when a look of fear and nervousness.  Who this person was you ask?  Well, obviously it was Rayman.

So far Rayman has been no pleasure to have around and sadly I never met the guy.
Waiting in a cell that isn’t my own is nerve racking.  Waiting for your doom – ladies and gentlemen, don’t try that at home.
The bunk had no mattress and the place was as dark, empty, and sad as the hallways.
“Rayanna.”  A small bunny squawked my name.
I rose – scared of what will happen next – I entered the room.  It was like a confession room you see in crime-shows.  Big room with a one-way window, something to record me on, a table, chairs, steal door, detective and a bodyguard.
The bunny squawked something else but I don’t think the bodyguard even understood but I just sat down anyway.
Apparently I made the right move; he gave a smile in approval and sat down in the chair across from me.
“Wait!”  The door seemed to slam open and Rayman stood in front of me yet again.
“Dear lord, is this a curse from above?”  I gave a growl in frustration and my head hit the table.
Rayman continued, “Don’t do anything to punish her it’s not necessary!  The whole crash is my responsibility!”
“Crash?”  The bunny detective asked, “I was going to tell her she could work in the arena less now that you’re here.”
I sat up in curiosity, “Say what?”  Was this statement true?  Me?  Finally partially free?
“Whoa, whoa, say whaty-what-whody-who-do?”  A yelled escaped from Rayman’s mouth.
The rabbid jumped up, “I got it—you can start a partnership!  Yes, the two of you – in activities!  The rabbids will be excited!”
Ignoring any of our interruptions the detective left knowing the enough authority to make his dream into reality with the bodyguard right behind him in championship.
“No … no … see, this is all your fault!”  I cried in more grief at the “male version” of myself.
Rayman gave a nervous smile, “O-oops?”
The smile he gave some electricity between us.  The smile seemed a lot alike the same one I gave when I was picked up by the jail-cell guard at the club.
At first his personality seemed like the hotshot and the know-it-all but I was wrong, he seemed no different then me.
“Look, I’m sorry about all this.  It’s all my fault.”  Rayman grabbed my hand.
I felt my face turn warm but I gave a comeback remark, “You better be gosh-darn sorry… but I forgive you.”
Wait, I’m forgiving him?  He must be good.
Just as it seemed he was showing off, “I think you sing gorgeously, though.”
“Now you are just sucking up,” I laughed.
I have a feeling this is going to be a beautiful relationship.
Man, was I wrong once his leadership in the rabbids’ heart came to its toll.
