EDIT 3: I can't believe how many faves this is getting! I'm really grateful, thank you!EDIT 2: Wow, I came 3rd place in the Loki-Hiddleston competition! I'm really happy with it (because I seriously think this picture is lame), but I have no idea what to think of for my prizes!

EDIT: As someone very kindly pointed out, The Mask doesn't show his ears in the film, so I've subtly edited it out

Hey! So I think I should explain this..
This is for #Loki-Hiddleston's contest that you can read about here [link]
So I was thinking about how to "Cheer up Loki" and at first I was going to go for a sentimental sweet picture, until late at night, I remembered that the film "The Mask" starring Jim Carrey held some Loki reference, and I thought...Loki would really be thrilled to see his mask has gone to good use!
*Ahem* So yeah...I think it's a stupid idea, but there you go! This is the best I can muster up. I'm sure Loki would hate to be around his own creation, let alone get cheered up by it! Nevermind, it made me smile

Loki looking like he regret making the mask. If Loki really made this mask, that can turn a person's inside persona into outside, then I think he understands humans more than we know.

What would happen if you take an artifact that makes you uninhibited, chaotic, and a living cartoon character... in a world where "dead by cartoonish means" still means "dead?" And then put it on LOKI?

This is quite cute... I remember watching this soon after I saw Thor and think along the same lines. I wouldn't be surprised is it was made in his drunken youth... probably around the same time he dressed Thor up in a dress to get Mjolnir back; but that's history now

if you watch the movie "SON OF THE MASK" at the beginning it will explain why loki made the mask!!!!!!!!
