Description EDIT 3: I can't believe how many faves this is getting! I'm really grateful, thank you!

EDIT 2: Wow, I came 3rd place in the Loki-Hiddleston competition! I'm really happy with it (because I seriously think this picture is lame), but I have no idea what to think of for my prizes! Thank you very much for everyone who voted for me, you're smashing!

EDIT: As someone very kindly pointed out, The Mask doesn't show his ears in the film, so I've subtly edited it out

Hey! So I think I should explain this..

This is for #Loki-Hiddleston's contest that you can read about here [link]

So I was thinking about how to "Cheer up Loki" and at first I was going to go for a sentimental sweet picture, until late at night, I remembered that the film "The Mask" starring Jim Carrey held some Loki reference, and I thought...Loki would really be thrilled to see his mask has gone to good use!

*Ahem* So yeah...I think it's a stupid idea, but there you go! This is the best I can muster up. I'm sure Loki would hate to be around his own creation, let alone get cheered up by it! Nevermind, it made me smile

Yeah I know, it's reflective of both "The Mask" with Jim Carey and "Thor". I know Loki appears in "The Son of the Mask" but I hated that film, I just thought it would be funny as in a "What If?" situation where they coincidentally met, because SoM Loki created the Mask, whereas Thor!Loki would probably rather kill himself than create such a thing I'm glad you like it nonetheless!

very nice! <3 love it! I loved the mask when I was a kid XD thought it was the best movie ever. poor loki, he probably made it when he was bored one day.

I'm surprised I can't seem to find much material with those two! When I first watched Thor I suddenly remembered "Hey, the movie The Mask was supposed to be somewhat related to Loki too!" I can't seem to find much online about those two though

I hate Karma, but Loki's a sucker for it really, it seems all his actions come and bite him back in the ass I'm glad you like it, and please do watch the movie, it's cringe worthingly funny!

Karma just hates him 'cause he needs his own pronoun. XDD Because you can't accurately call him a he since he becomes a woman at random intervals... but if you call him she Loki will probably bite you. XD Cursed shape shifters!

i'd forgotten about the mask thing. didn't Loki make it or something? i havn't seen the mask in ages and you're right. the guy doesn't have ears. love this picture and Loki's expression. it made me laugh. thanks.
