Description
Now these are a series of SketchUp models I did awhile back, I converted all the individual map tiles from the Advance Wars series (GBA/DS) to 3D.With these packs, one could potentially recreate any map from Advance Wars in not-so-amazing 3D!!
There are seven packs in total.
Urban Pack.
Terrain Pack.
Road Pack.
River Pack.
Pipeline Pack.
Sea Pack.
Black Hole Rising Expansion pack.
This is the Urban Pack.
It features:
--4 Neutral Urban Tiles (Base, Airport, Port, City)
--5 Urban Tiles Per faction (HQ, Base, Airport, Port, City) (4 Factions)
--1 Missile Silo TIle (Loaded)
--1 Missile Silo TIle (Spent)
Total 26 Tiles

That's fairly impossible, seeing as AW belongs to Nintendo.
I hope they make a suped up AW for the Wii though.
Not Battalion Wars, I want a Turn Based Strategy.
And based on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd games, not Dark Conflict.

I agree with everything in that statement. A 3-D Wii Wars featuring OS, BM, GE and YC would rock so hard.
So... when do we get to see a sample battle map made up of all your tiles and models?
And do you plan to eventually do every unit for every country or...?

Umm... hey.
That post was made in way back in February and my opinion’s changed somewhat.
I own Dark Conflict now, and I really like it. As much as I liked the character design from the earlier games, almost everything in DC is superior by comparison.
That said however, a fully 3D Advance Wars would kick so much ass.
As for the battlemaps?
I actually made some, I just never uploaded them...
Spann Island anyone?
Units?
God, I haven’t made any in ages...
I haven’t got any plans to create more,
unless you’ve got some you want to see, in which case I will happily oblige.
(Though I can’t guarantee the bigger units, Bombers and Battleships etc. Mostly because the in-game sprites don’t detail the whole vehicle.)
