A few years after meeting, Sky and Silver Comet become coltfriend and marefriend. Unfortunately, Silver learns about Sky's beast form the hard way... When she's on a rampage...
After having a spell cast on Sky by Discord, she's trapped in beast form until someone else can reverse it. She is unable to speak, and spends most of her days in the woods, isolated from Silver and her family.

Silver does not take her new form particularly well, and after finding out the change could possibly be permanent, he goes into a deep depression, unable to even make contact with her for a matter of days while she is forced into night rampages. When he does discover her one night, Sky claws Silver's left wing, bringing her to consciousness and fleeing into the Everfree forest. Silver is now grounded, and Sky is now being hunted by all of Ponyville. He attempts to find her, and is attacked by timber-wolves one night, only being saved by Sky defending him. Both were severely wounded during the fight, only to be discovered a few days later in the forest, with the curse broken.

Sky cares a lot for Silver, attempting to hide herself until the inevitable discovery. She is so distraught by harming him that she ties herself down, trying to keep from harming him. She goes for days without food or water, doesn't even try to get up... At least until she hears Silver's yelps in the trees. Despite her weakened state, Sky runs to help him, attacking the timberwolves and receiving some severe injuries in the process.
