This is really remarkable! I was immediately struck by the beauty and professionality of the piece. It's at once wonderfully skilled but at the same time personably traditional.
I love the colors... From the soft skyscape to the sharp foreground, the colors grab my attention and keep them constantly swooping about the piece, always noticing more little details. The textures are diverse and well-done, everything from the grass to the tree bark looks real and engaging.
The character, too, is wonderful to see. I love the pose, which goes well with the serenity of the scene but is at the same time is interesting. The anatomy looks great as well, simple but effective. What a great sense of balance throughout the piece!
The only bug I notice is that the character's right fore-arm (On our left) is overly curved, but it's so minor as to be nearly unnoticeable. You should be proud of this piece. As for me, I think I shall stop blathering now and simply fav the darned thing.

Thank you so much for the wonderful comment. The sky was done with pastels is how I got the softness look. The trees, grass and mountains were a combination of Prismacolor markers and pencils. The main character was all pencils though. There are so many bugs that I could point out myself but that is just the artist point of view. A piece is never perfect or finished to an artist right? Though I am very proud of this piece as it has been really one of my bestest works. Just wish some of my other peices would turn out like this.
