naw, not out of date. I only found out about them while I was on chat. Wacom's arepretty much digital sketchpads, you draw on them, and it moves the cursor on the screen the same way.

I got a bamboo pen and touch, and did pretty well with it. You can get Intuos 4's which are EPIC- but expensive.
