It's late but I always update on Sunday (or so DA says). I'm late on commissions again because I cannot draw boys. This weekend has been a great subtraction from my self-esteem. great.Okay, got this from <3 who got it from a slew of other people. Basically, do a picture timeline of your artwork.
Ummm, okay, left to right then up to down. All these pics can be seen at my gallery site [link]
except for the last one, which is on DA
1. clear waters - december 2003 - first serious tablet pic ever (with a borrowed tablet). Done in photoshop.
2. Red Wings - Jan 04 - colored pencil pic. I don't do these anymore (and I should. traditional media has faded from my inventory)
3. Black Roses - May 04 - done in painter classic
4. Dreamcatcher's pheonix - June 04 - Painter 8
5. High Tide Pheonix - Jan 05 - OC2 probably still my best artwork and it's from more than a year ago ;_;
6. Butterfly Cage - March 05 - OC3?
7. Summer Shower - June 05 - OC3
8. Fan Dancer - June 05 - OC3. it's simple and without a bg, but one of my better pics. sad, neh
9. Yellow Kimono - Aug 05 - OC3 drawn for yellow day. quickly done but people seem to like it somehow
10. 10 of hearts - Nov 05 - probably the most recent pic drawn for myself (others are commissions). utilizes better shadows and stuff. I've only recently learned how to do that. argh, it's hard to improve
it's late and I've got homework. Too tired to make fun of myself more . . . I think I might start crying if I did. don't flame me for not posting actual art . .. i'll delete this later.

I love how your style changes and varies from picture to picture because i've been doing the same thing with each picture I draw and i felt weird XD I always like to try different coloring and anatomy styles. Then i look at my gallery and think "wow none of my work looks the same 0.0

Such a nice idea to put them up as a collage like that, one can see the style progress, keeping same but becoming more richer. More detailed and your colour-use, too. Beautiful works, as they ever were, and beautiful still. You really do very good work.

Y. your art is beautiful and you are a very nice friendly and kind person. That picture you did for me even though you didn't have to is now my deviant ID and I look at it every time I come on DA. I still love it to pieces and never get tired of looking at it. If you can produce something so wonderful quickly with less effort than your main pieces, then I think that is sign enough of your skill.

Actually, of all of these, Butterfly Cage has got to be my favorite. ^___^ Except for Black Roses. That's my other favorite.
I'm inspired to go do one of these now...I'll never end up doing it, but at least I'm inspired.

Its gradual but i can definately see improvement from your past years of arting ^^ your 10 of Hearts was one of my fav pics from you, besides the High Tide Pheonix which i must say was very impressive o.o
