Description
This is Bubba(hey,I didn't name him!) a Great horned owl...he perpetually looks annoyed-LOL.He was released,but an injured wing didn't heal right,so he was unable to hunt silently ,so he nearly starved..
he came back to the rehab center,where he is now used as an education bird for schools etc.I am learning to hand feed him...he clacks and hisses at me,but will eventually mouth the mouse,and look at me like"there,NOW will you go away??!" LOL.Isn't he beautiful though?Pic by co-worker-Nick
