Taichi "Tai" Kamiya & Satoshi "Sacha" Katsumoto

- DAYBREAK -

If you know Daybreak since a long time (Daybreak has started in 1999), you know Tai and Sacha's relationship is what facebook would say "complicated". Both are born leaders but with opposite ideas. Both have a fire within and a determination, both are stubborn with a fiery temper, both see life as a competition and can be impulsive. All those traits in common sometimes makes it impossible for them to agree. And occasionally leads them into a fight (verbal and/or comical, most of the time, but sometimes not !). For them to work as a team is not always easy but when they do, it means they both managed to trust each other, which, in my opinion, make their friendship special. Because it was not easy, it took time and work.

Tai and Sacha are far from being psychological twins, despite those identical traits.
In Daybreak (I precise, especially in Daybreak ! They are not 100% like their Pokémon/Digimon selves here) Tai is a guy who jokes and laughs a lot, he acts very silly often, gives everyone stupid nicknames just to bother them - at least that's what they believe. He has a strong need to protect others that his due to an event of his past but he tries his best not to let anyone know how much protecting them is important for him. He hides most behind smiles and jokes.

Sacha on the other hand is very worried and determinated to be stronger in order to defeat the bad guys and go back home. He's not "grumpy" by nature, he's just unhappy with the situation and upset that both Tai and Sarha doesn't seem to take this as seriously as he does. He's of course often seen being his "normal self", nice, helpful and fun. The situation is just sometimes too heavy on his shoulders.
What I mean to say is that even with their similarities, they both react very differently, and have very different points of view. Which is why they rarely agree on what to do and how to do it.

But they became friends anyway, and learned to trust each other. They can't always agree on everything but that's okay.
And I love how important each Daybreak is for the others.
