If I can give you an advice, you would have to cure more the details, enough not to make copy and glue in order to obtain a good result.
An artist acknowledges from engagement that puts in curing also the smallest detail.

I think it's a good image, but the shadows are too harsh... What did you use? The Drop Shadow option?
I wouldn't recommend it, 'cause it gives not a real effect... Here in dA has a lot of good tutorials, try to go to the page of resources and you'll find many to help you out!

I see it now and I apologize for being hasty in my judgment. I can now see that the tips of the ends of the hair which flows to the left is exactly the same as the stock photo. =flordelys 's version has the tips of the hair in that area longer. This is the only way I can tell the differences.

I'm a new artist too, but I practice and grow, I dont steal. I'm very offended, I didnt deserve her harsh words. I'm not removing it, but I did write to DA admin, I told them what has happened. I'm hoping they can get thru to her ( I couldnt! ) and prevent her from attacking another artist and slandering them.

What you need to do is apologize. That is a FREE stock model from LisaJen Stock~ used WITH permission, [link] The dock was free as well, which WAS a day scene that I darkened, and a night sky from my own personal photos. So no, I will not remove it. I dont even understand how you could call this theft. Any changes to any stock were made by ME! I'd hate to offend your ego, but I've NEVER HEARD OF, OR EVEN SEEN your art before. I resent what you've said to me, and I'm sorry its so surprising to you that people might see a piece of stock and use it with a similar (although ours are quite different) bg. I used the water/ dock because I had to use a piece of stock from the gallery of the artist holding a contest I wished to enter. As soon as I saw it, I thought it fit the model I had already prepared to use. Night sky fit better than day, so thats what I went with.

It appears to me you're not even sure what I'm talking about. It's the girl only, the background is incontestably yours.
It's not a matter of 'ego' as I never displayed any such attitude. My many friends and watchers can attest to that.
However, I do recognize my brush strokes on the model, *Lisajen-stock .
Why don't you just do the right thing and remove my work from yours?

I am telling you, its not yours. I've never even heard f yu. LisaJen stock is on my friends list, when she submitted it, it showed in my deviation list. I saved it as soon as I saw her. She is exactly the same as the stock photo. except I darkened her. There is a lighter spot on her skirt, just like [link] And evidently it IS ego, because it really isnt yours! Go look at the stock link, this is NOT your art. I may be less talented than you, but I can honestly say any work I have submitted has been ALL MINE. I am not ashaed to admit there are many things I hope to one day do... but I practice, or ask another member for help. I even study tuts, but I DO NOT STEAL. There is no growth in that. I guess I should you keep insisting y model is yours, but really, I'm just really mad. If you would like to persist, I'm fine with taking this up w/ DA admin, since I'm not removing my own image

You (excuse me, everybody ELSE ) can plainly see that I used the stock model from lisajen. On the left where the hair is behind the arm you can see mine is exactly the same as the stock pic. On your picture you have used hair brushes, or the liquify effect to get the hair to flow out further. They are 2 different depictions

Difference of opinion. I did NOT call you a liar. And I had no such conflict with anyone on DA ever since I got here.
I simply stated there are a lot of "maybe's". People share 'cut-out' models all over the internet.
I too reported the deviation to the admin. And it took me well over 24 hours to decide whether it was yours or mine.
So, since we cannot come to a consensus I am fine with whatever they decide.
