Woo! Back into drawing. I guess sometimes you just have to force yourself.Sumar and Ulises, of course. Slidin out. Love those boys!
Anywho, I'm quite proud of this. Even the dodgy background I drew, lol.
The whole thing took me a few days on and off. Roughly around 17 hours, I think. Which is probably the longest I have spent on a drawing. I usually get lazy if I stop a drawing, and don't normally get back to it. But luckily this time I did

Wow, this is 100% amazing!!! The shading on the orcas is to die for, and the water drops coming off the dorsal are just awesome!!! I like the background too, it doesn't take away focus from the orcas, the orcas themselves could be from a photograph... so realistic!!!

Beautiful! I love the reflections on Ulises' back and the water movement forward on the slideout. The blurred background really makes the boys stand out. Awesome job!

This is so amazing! When I first saw the tumbnail, it looked just like an actual picture. The detail is so perfect. And the markings of Sumar and Ulises are perfect as well! I love the water effects, and I really like the background.

I was like "how did she do this?" when I saw the tumbnail because I thought you did perfect sculptures of the two. But when I saw it in real size now I am even more amazed. That drawing is not only life-like but almost 3-D! They look so real they could come right out of the picture and swim away

Hmm, I've never really tried. I did do one clay sculpture for an art assignment. We had to make a candle holder, so I made a big ol orca jumping out of the water over the candle. Turned out quite nice, but I did have help from my teacher. I will have a go at it, though. Should be a hoot! If it turns out decent, I will post pictures of it here
