EDIT: Wow. Not quite sure how I screwed this up, but when I originally put this piece up I completely forgot I had made a panel for Movie 9. xD;; This new updated version includes the missing panel.Inspired by our most recent Detective Conan World podcast . Somehow we got into a conversation about how whenever Conan needs to do a skill in the movies he hasn't previously shown the staff explains Conan learned the skill when he was Shinichi and with his dad in Hawaii and I came up with this little joke...
Yes, I realize Conan has been shown snowboarding before in canon, and yes, Ran is OOC but that's part of the joke.

Oh and I think the helicopter was learned with a simulator that he played a lot in the fifth grade. I could.... kinda buy that because he does seem to completely commit to something once he wants to learn it. But that Hawaii trip had to have been several months long for him to be THAT good at everything else.

It made sense in the second movie as Japanese citizens do sometimes include a trip to a shooting range when visiting Hawaii since it's something they can't do in their own country. Not exactly something I'd plan to do on a Hawaiian vacation but to each their own. After that it just got out of control somehow. Unless he's just a savant at these skills, just how long did he spend in Hawaii?

Actually, if I'm not mistaken snowboarding and longboarding are pretty similar. Well, more than snowboarding and skateboarding at least.
So it wouldn't be hard for a skilled longboarder to know how to snowboard without ever using one.
And you certainly can learn to use a longboard in Hawaii as there are regular streets.
(Well, I only know for sure, that some snowboarder decided to go longboarding because that isn't to different, but hey, it should work the other way round as well, shouldn't it?)
Anyhow, I still liked the comic, great job. But since I bought a longboard a while ago (still don't know how to move with it though) I just thought about that.
