EDIT: Wow. Not quite sure how I screwed this up, but when I originally put this piece up I completely forgot I had made a panel for Movie 9. xD;; This new updated version includes the missing panel.Inspired by our most recent Detective Conan World podcast . Somehow we got into a conversation about how whenever Conan needs to do a skill in the movies he hasn't previously shown the staff explains Conan learned the skill when he was Shinichi and with his dad in Hawaii and I came up with this little joke...
Yes, I realize Conan has been shown snowboarding before in canon, and yes, Ran is OOC but that's part of the joke.

...There actually is an inactive volcano in Hawaii where there is a ski resort. So, theoretically, you could learn to snowboard in Hawaii (I have ski-crazy friends that just HAD to go skiing in Hawaii). But...yeah.

LOL. Best running joke. I used it in a fanfic I wrote a lil while back, where I had him chase a criminal down on horseback. When he gets back, everyone asks him where he learned how to ride a horse, and of course, his response was:
"Hawaii."
