Description
I went to see How To Train Your Dragon last nigh and oh gosh I loved it... Didn't expect to love it so much... At first, I must confess I went to see it because Toothless looked like Minuit, my black catBut it was breath-taking. The animation, the story, the relationship between Hiccup and Toothless... The epics moments were SO epics, and emotions moments had real emotion in it. It was funny, charming, thrilling, exciting, cute and full of feeling. Way to go, Dreamworks, I'm glad they are able to do again what they did on 2D movies. They put again an heart in their movies. It was good to see a movie that wasn't a pure comedy with pop-culture references every minute.
And the 3D was very entertaining and well done. The flying sequences took my breath away and I was crying of joy. It was all I had waited for years to see and feel, really.Only for that, I could see the movie a billion time...
I kind of grow obsessed with the movie and now I can't wait to see it again and again and again... I'll see it in theaters as much as possible to have the 3D.
I ordered the OST, I can't wait to get it, the music was so beautiful... Have a try ~
If you didn't, go see it >///<

Dernière chose : toi aussi, tu as dit "Mince.

Great sketches!! I saw the movie, but not the book. I also have a black cat that acts so like toothless, it's too funny. Keep up the great work!

AWWW, I love how you can draw Toothless so well! Really, it must be thank to Minuit XD (just kidding, it's all because you're an amazing artist!)
aw, you even sketched the scene where Toothless is drawing XD a dragon who wants to draw. Nothing to say, this is really a great dragon for us XD

Anyways, tu as très bien capturé l'air de Toothless je trouve. C'est dingue ce qu'il ressemble aux chats xD (ça me fait penser à ma Liloo et mon ptit Oggy )

great, great sketches!! so... friendshippy, lovely, moving... (as in 'in motion' ) and from what I've seen around, looks so much like them, too!
I want to see it, I want to ;^; but they only released a dubbed version on theaters. I can't stand subs, so... nn.

is the db that bad? In french, it's the contrary, I prefer animated movies dubbed, we have very good voice-actors, and french language is more expressive than english when it comes to animation, to my mind.

it's not that it's bad... I mean, it used to be, from movies I've seen... getting better lately~ to me, English is way prettier a language than Bulgarian (which is lame in dramatic scenes, so so lame. no doubt that the db is not as bad I think, just sounds really wrong to me personally. but I love English, so.
eh, I must sound very mean from all this Dx
I will give it a try though, as I said, dubbing is better these days here~)

Wow, you did a really good job of capturing Hiccup and Toothless' characters, and I can't help but giggle over the stick-drawing scene.
I agree, the movie was pretty freaking badass, but I hoping to see it in 2D sometime soon, because some of the 3D flying and fast motion scenes made me nauseous. Maybe it just me, but I really don't want to upchuck in the theatre...

Thanks a lot ! I can't wait to receive the book (they were out of order at the shop ) and study them even better! I did these sketches without references after seeing the movie, but I want to draw them better !
Oh, too bad... I loved the flying scenes in 3D, I felt like I was on Toothless' back too !

I enjoyed the 3D flying scenes, they were INCREDIBLE, but I have a long standing fear of falling and the spinning bits made me all kinds of nervous. My friend Aren ended up having me cling to her like a limpet through pretty much all the flying scenes so I could keep myself grounded.
