The angles and scaled armor like appearance of it gives it a very aggressive, organic feel to it. I like it ^_^

I love how some of the lines, particularly on the engine tail and cockpit gives the illusion of the jet being organic. Nice job

Awesome design, the repulsor fields you mention might remove some problems BlacktailFA mentioned, but another thing to make it more futuristic, is to make a COFFIN system cockpit, a cockpit that uses cameras and sensors to create a 3d view for the pilot, A major example of its use is on the FALKEN, a fighter in the Ace Combat series,

It's really good!
At first, I thought I was looking at the bottom of the aircraft, then I looked to the right, and I knew I was looking at the top.
Then back to the left and it was the bottom
I'm just gonna go and hide away in a corner now...

Purely addressing the aircraft;
I've always been a fan of the forward-swept Y-wing design, and the gun being carried underneath the plane and the overall shape reminds me of the VF-27 Lucifer. I like how you have some lines implying a more organic shape, and I would love to see a tightened render of this in more "true to life" color.

Thanks 3rdEye. ^_^ Very interesting Comment notes.
Yeah I am tempted to do a tighter one,
especially now that I got a wacom penbed HP tablet pc.
That or a 3D model whichever comes fist.
I need to cover some other GOA concept fist tho.

You meen what rick flys? Thats more of an F14.
This was intended to have more of a Sukhoi_Su-30MKI [link] and Su_47 [link] feel to it. This one has a repulser feld loadout for testing.

Very cool design! I love your style! Although, if it is supposed to be futuristic, I would consider dropping the canopy cockpit or at least adapting it. Its just my opinion but transparent windshields are a bit 21 century if you ask me XD, I would experiment with digital or sensory based sockets. Just a thought!

Thank you for taking the time to give me some very good advice BlacktailFA ^_^!
I am aware of most of these technical and practcal issues, such as the flutter and stress caused by forward swept wing designs, which is why until Recently jets like the Russian Sukhoi Su-47 Berkut were just purely experimental. [link]
Actually I wish i knew more people in different fields so i could ask them to assess different sci fi concepts and scenarios! It's hard to come by folks deep in these creative fields in Barbados.
Not sure if you read the GOA background or not, but these pieces are quick and dirty
rough concept work just to get some general ideas out for some people who were interested in doing some work for it. I would hire people to flesh out the details once things gets rolling and I have more funds.
In this story the design is a controversial unproven prototype version of an older aircraft model.
There is a material in GOA that can be use to make matter lighter than it would normally be.
It is used in a number of applications such as airships. Some Craft also have field generators such as the ones now being experimented with that can influence air flow, that's what some of the surfaces you are referring too are for.
Of course the different GOA races think differently and it influnences their hardware as well.
There are new materials that can take stress and have made forward swept wing designs such as rushun Sukhoi Su-47 Berkut more practcal.
As a sort of sci-fi / fantasy there is some room for creative license as well. "grins"
Although for this project i am aiming for it to based in real science where ever possible, so advice such as yours is very helpful indeed. thanks alot ^_^.

That's a very impressive design, but there are a number of significant flaws in it's shape.
- The pitched-backward wingtips will create flutter at high speeds, and could be snapped-off by this.
- I have no idea what function the "pods" on the wings serve, but they will cancel-out a lot of potential life, and create TONS of drag, greatly reducing performance and stability. The will also create undue stress from weight and flexing that will SERIOUSLY impair the lifespan of the wings, create imbalance during maneuvers, and run the risk of snapping the whole wing off at the root during sudden, high-g maneuvers.
You'd best move them to the fuselage, if possible.
- The multiple canards are completely redundant in function --- one pair is all that an aircraft has any use for. If you need the canard area, then simply create larger canards.
- The trailing tips of the vertical stabilizers (tails) are also a major source of flutter. If you need a large rudder area, then lengthen the WHOLE rudder. Otherwise, trim the trailing tips off.
- The downward-canted vertical stabilizers should either be turned into horizontal stabilizers, or hinged to rotate into a level position, to allow greater "tail relief" during landings. Otherwise, the GOA Jet will have to perform all of it's level-flight landings at low altitudes, high speeds, and with very little lengthwise rotation --- that will also dictate the use of a drag chute (more weight), or a VERY long runway (rarely available, even in peacetime).
Other than that, the GOA seems to be a fairly solid design.
