Description Nimbries

    Danger level: ★✫
Location: Mana village (livestock), Skaian Highlands, Mana Lake (livestock), Mana Ridge, Traveler's eye
    Drops: Wool, beast claw, steak

Nimbri are docile creatures who can only find happiness when living in herds with their own kind, what makes them incapable of being kept as lone pets despite their affectionate behaviour towards chiots. Though their speed surpasses that of any other creature known by chiot kind, nimbries are physically weak and can only carry a light weighted chiot and small cargo at best. They're commonly taken to expeditions to Mana Ridge due to their incredible ability to traverse in montainous terrain, climbing up dangerous rocks and difficult ground as if just a leisure stroll. Trained nimbri are heavily sought by sentiment stone retrievers and Mana's Post Office as they are used by mailmen to deliver express packages.

Despite majoritarily nonconfrontational, male nimbries are rowdy. If feeling threatened, they will display their horns in order to intimidate a foe, puffing up their wool to appear bigger than they really are. Ironically, they mainly resort to their raptor toes to attack, bashing their heads only if the enemy is far enough for them to get a running boost. Nimbri are escape artists, known to be able to jump over really tall fences - nothing can keep a nimbries away from the herd if it's separated from it. These creatures are monogamic, eventually choosing a single partner to be their soulmate once they reach sexual maturity, living their whole lives together until their dying day. Farmers who sacrifice them for their meat must sacrifice the partner as well, for it would eventually die due to depression and self-starvation.

Their young are called nimblings and love to run around, playfully headbutting each other and chiots to get their attention. Their striped markings are said to be an evolutionary adaptation, for they often hide in bushy areas in the wild and it helps them not be noticed by predators, mixing in with the shadows.
